Miri Ben-Ari is a groundbreaking violinist- producer and music-tech entrepreneur. She is the first—and only—violinist to win a Grammy Award in the Hip Hop category and also become an “Apollo Legend”. In 2025 she became the first recording artist to headline Game 7 of the NBA Finals. A true music pioneer, she has contributed to the sale of millions of records through her collaborations with global icons including Wyclef Jean, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Wynton Marsalis, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, Akon, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson, John Legend, Aventura, Armin Van Buuren, and many more.
In 2024, Ben-Ari founded MusicX, a music-tech startup focused on developing an innovative approach to music streaming designed for teens. Beyond her musical and tech achievements, Miri is a UN Goodwill Ambassador of Music to the United Nations and is deeply committed to creating social impact through the power of music. Her latest initiative, Symphony of Brotherhood, is an educational program in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education and the New Jersey Lieutenant Governor, Tahesha Way.
Originally from Israel, she studied under the late classical master Isaac Stern and went on to create a unique sound—a revolutionary fusion of classical, hip-hop, and dance music recognized as a musical pioneer. Her endorsement deals and campaigns include Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Reebok, and Harman Kardon.
