LEIF RYDFORS - BIOGRAPHY

Leif is the managing partner and CEO for a private $30 million art investment fund based in New York City, and has over 21 years of experience in international sales and management. As a speaker, he has conducted over 1,240 speaking engagements. He possesses a rare public speaking talent which enables him to spontaneously transform advanced sales models, concepts, and strategies into simple and impactful calls to action, while engaging the audience in an invigorating, informative and fun manner.

After earning his degree in Italian Literature, Art history, and Psychology at Georgetown University (Washington D.C), he has travelled to over 113 countries around the world as an international art connoisseur, auctioneer, and leading sales executive for the largest private art dealers in the world. 
 
Previously, he managed the sales division for 31 cruise ship art galleries, overseeing a staff of 207 art directors, auctioneers, and sales associates onboard internationally. Leif is a specialist in training and development, and has conducted rigorous sales training modules to over hundreds of elite sales professionals monthly over the course of the past two decades. His training modules encompass an advanced 10 day programming, designed for trainee’s to advance in masterful techniques, such as overcoming “objections”, leading to “power closing”, and building relationships. His approach has overwhelmingly been called effective and easily teachable to any sales-based industry, and organization. Leif offers a unique perspective in management and sales to any company wishing to inspire their sales teams and increase productivity and revenue. 
 
Leif’s career experiences have afforded him a life full of international opportunities. He has lived in four continents and speaks six languages fluently (Italian, Swedish, English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. He is additionally able to converse in Russian and German). Leif’s appetite for international travel began at an early age - he was born in Nairobi, and travelled throughout his childhood with his parents. His father was previously the Swedish Ambassador to Kenya, Uganda, and Barundi. 
 
Leifs  appreciation for sales, management, and training stems from a deeply personal and nuanced love of culture, languages, and art. He believes that art is mankind's primary form of communication, since the beginning of human history, and when fully understood it can open up new and fascinating ways for people to enhance their ability to interact with the world.
