THE PROPERTY WIVES

Kaylie and Riley Miller are the co-founders of The Property Wives, a queer owned real estate team, and the Welcome Home Project, an initiative specializing in helping the LGBTQ+ population and other marginalized communities find affordable, safe housing, be guided on a pathway to home ownership, to fight work and housing discrimination through creating streams of income, and a global directory that lists safe and inclusive LGBTQ+ businesses. They are a speaking duo working at the intersection of housing, prevention, and social impact entrepreneurship.

They develop co-living housing models designed to increase investor returns while expanding access to affordable, community-centered living—particularly for individuals and families navigating barriers in housing or home ownership.

Kaylie leads with real estate expertise, helping clients and investors access creative, income-generating pathways to ownership and wealth-building. She works in full authenticity - a neon pink and yellow sparkly wardrobe that drives revenue and profit, and she will teach you the sales psychology about increasing profit through owning the parts of you that society told you to hide. Kaylie says “your difference is your differentiator.” Riley brings a background in prevention science and over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use prevention, with a focus on lives experience, systems, and storytelling.

By applying prevention principles to housing, they focus on creating stability, connection, and access before people reach crisis points like houselessness, mental health emergencies, or financial collapse. This increases health outcomes for all people and is extremely cost effective. Their model positions housing not just as an asset, but as infrastructure for well-being.

The result is a “profit with purpose” approach that aligns investor incentives with real-world impact—addressing affordability and loneliness while building sustainable returns.

Through their platform and speaking, Kaylie and Riley translate this work into practical strategies for audiences across industries—from real estate and entrepreneurship to healthcare and social impact.

Their message is simple:

When you design systems that work for people, they also work better as businesses.

👤 RILEY MILLER – BIO

Riley Miller is a Prevention Scientist (M.S.), speaker, storyteller, writer, and advocate working at the intersection of mental health, substance use prevention, and human connection.

By training, Riley specializes in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based prevention programs. She has spent over a decade working across mental health promotion and substance use prevention—from direct care to large-scale campaigns—developing a deep understanding of human behavior, systems, and the upstream solutions that prevent crises before they begin.

Her work is rooted in storytelling as a tool for cultural change. Through years of interviewing individuals and amplifying lived experiences, Riley has honed the ability to translate both data and humanity into messages that move people.

As a speaker, Riley is known for her powerful message: that every person has inherent worth—regardless of imperfection, mistakes, or recurrence of use. After years of navigating her own journey in recovery, she experienced a pivotal shift—realizing her worth was not something to be earned externally, but something that had always existed within her. That realization became the foundation of both her personal freedom and her professional work.

Today, Riley teaches individuals and organizations how to move beyond external validation, own their voice, and reconnect with their inherent value. She is a strong advocate for integrating science with lived experience, believing that one of the most powerful credentials a person can hold is not just the letters behind their name—but the life they’ve lived.

Riley’s work extends into social impact entrepreneurship, where she applies prevention science to real-world challenges like housing instability, loneliness, and access to opportunity. She believes prevention is not only more humane—but more cost-effective—addressing issues before they escalate into crises involving healthcare systems, incarceration, or long-term instability.

She currently serves as the “Chief Connection Officer” within her business, leading storytelling, marketing, relationship-building, and early-stage client engagement—helping people feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate major life transitions.

Her mission is simple but transformative:

To help people understand that their worth has never been up for debate—and to build systems that reflect that truth.
