Praise

"This book is a lifeline for survivors of sexual assault and the people who stand with them. JoDee Neil fuses her lived experience, prosecutorial insight, and the best of current science to offer a powerful, urgently needed guide to healing and justice." — Kasey Clayborn, Director, Addiction Research Institute, The University of Texas at Austin

"A valuable and compelling how-to manual for women who are dealing with recent or past sexual assault. The author approaches the topic as a survivor—and as an advocate who seeks to change a culture that too often silences victims and protects perpetrators." — Lise Olsen, author of Code of Silence

"An important book by a lawyer and a sexual assault survivor—for sexual assault survivors and others who support them." — Paul Cassell, former federal judge; Professor of Law, S.J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah
