Educator, Entrepreneur, Athlete. Chet Snouffer comes from a long line of educators and entrepreneurs.  Always the innovator and the educator, Chet sums up his secret to success simply enough. "I have lived my entire life doing the things I love while somehow getting paid  to share that love and knowledge with others!"

One common thread throughout Chet's early years were outdoor activities, from kites and boomerangs to kayaking, hiking, biking, and tramping the woods of Central Ohio. A second thread was his ability to always turn every pursuit into some form of money-making business to support his passions! There were the "automatic" car washes in the garage. Handmade kite and boomerang sales started with classmates, led to friends and  professors, and eventually to specialty shops around the world. Did we mention the restaurant in the basement?

But perhaps the strongest thread of all throughout his life has been the overwhelming desire to SHARE his KNOWLEDGE and SECRETS OF SUCCESS, along with his PASSION for all he touches.

Chet Snouffer began building and throwing his own boomerangs at the age of ten. In 1979 he went to his first tournament in Washington DC and has been traveling the world ever since as an original member of the US Boomerang Team formed in 1981.

Chet has won an unprecedented 12 U.S. National Championships and 3 World Championships. As a member of the US Team, he has won 6 world team championships. He has performed for and been featured on MTV, ESPN, CBS, PM Magazine, and in newspapers and magazines around the world. He has spoken and performed for companies including CBS Studios, Motorola®, and The Limited®, FISERV®, The International Tennis Hall of Fame®, Outback Land Development and Liebert® Corporation. He has thrown around the Saint Louis Arch and The Harding Memorial; inside the Waldorf Astoria Ballroom in NYC, and in the foyer of the Tarado Mansion east of Denver. Not to mention inside CBS Studios, on the streets of Paris, throughout the beaches of southern France, and in a parking lot in Des Moines, Iowa…

An individual who prides himself on his principles and his commitment to a drug and alcohol-free existence, Chet has turned down lucrative sponsorship offers from the tobacco industry as well as commercial offers from national brewing companies.

Chet is available to speak on a variety of topics from Secrets of Success, to Leadership, Teamwork, The Art, Sport and Science of Boomerangs and more. Scouts, 4-H, Schools and Industries have all benefitted from Chet’s dynamic programs.
