anthony treble - BIOGRAPHY

Anthony Treble, emcee/actor/producer, is a native of New York City with ties to the southern United States, the Caribbean Islands and Mexico.  Anthony has worked with artists and companies from the U.K., Australia, India and France. He grew up in Queens, New York next door to the legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC. His father, a thirty-year educator, helped found the Harlem Renaissance Theater Group and his brother was a Hollywood finalist on American Idol.

Education and entertainment are necessities to define Anthony Treble. He started his professional career as a college instructor while moonlighting as a musician.  Unfortunately, mental health issues began to jeopardize both careers. As a professional in two worlds, Anthony was being torn apart. Having a family history of mental illness was also a major concern. Both his mother and sister had documented histories and had been committed or heavily medicated. Even with a BA in Philosophy, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, performing with two bands, and raising two beautiful children in a wonderful community, there was not enough accomplishment to avoid the harsh realities of a mental health disorder.

After years of performing on two different stages, Anthony decided to address his health properly. The doctor very simply recommended to “do what makes you happy”.  With that and the right medication, the advice was heeded and Anthony transitioned in front of the camera, signing an agency talent deal as an actor/model. After a few months of having representation, he landed multiple commercial roles, a few TV roles, and two feature films with one currently available on Amazon Prime Video, ‘Broken Swords: The Last in Line”.

He also landed a song placement on the streaming platform ‘Hulu’ for his feel-good, seasonal track “In The Summertime”. His music is an amalgam of sounds from Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Pop, Rock, Dance, Alternative, Funk, Jazz, and Latin vibes. Anthony is Latin American, Indigenous American and African American, and is fluent in Spanish. He is also a Certified Public Speaker. While working as an actor and musician, he continues to work as a DJ, voice-actor, online presenter/host, and an online instructor. He is currently affiliated with five different companies online in the world of public speaking and hosting, education, and volunteer work.
