| Biography | Dr. Malarkey has been a practicing physician for over 30 years. He received his medical training at the University of Pittsburgh, The Ohio State University, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Colorado. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Endocrinology. He has received recognition for
his clinical expertise and is referred patients from throughout Ohio and surrounding states. He has been on numerous "best doctors" lists in various publications. In September of 1998 he was selected as one of the best doctors in Central Ohio. | Dr. Malarkey has been an internationally recognized researcher in endocrinology, breast cancer, pituitary tumors, and stress research. He is Director
of The Ohio State University Clinical Research Center. His work has lead to over 150 research publications and book chapters as well as over 100 published research abstracts, many of which he has presented at national meetings. He has served on numerous national committees and editorial boards. This year he has been nominated for the Ohio State University Distinguished Professor Award which is given annually to several University Professors whose research teaching and other academic
achievements have brought national and international attention to Ohio State University. | He speaks frequently at national research meetings, post-graduate education seminars, and on television and radio shows. He is an enthusiastic speaker with lots of energy who is experienced selling ideas about which he is passionate. Every five years he has to defend the productivity of his two million
dollar a year clinical research center, which employs 25 individuals, to the critical review of 15 visitors from Washington and the rest of the U.S.A. His research center performs research on diabetes, women's health, AIDS, cancer, obesity, muscular dystrophy, Lou Gehrig's disease, emphysema, renal diseases, hypertension, and stress. Through his various national contacts over the years, he has developed a network of friends who will be very helpful in opening the door to speaking and other
