thoroughly reliable system for color analysis that is increasingly recognized as a powerful image enhancing tool. | As a total image consultant, Dumont educates and coaches clients in the entire arena of image. Her work begins with the basic non-verbal skills: body language, comportment and exterior appearance, which includes clothing & accessories, makeup, grooming and power dressing. Through
in-depth training, Dumont enables her clients to discover and develop their own, distinct style, and to ultimately increase their self-confidence. | Dumont is a certified Competent Toastmaster with Toastmasters International. In September 2000, she gave an image tools workshop in Milan at the prestigious Women International Networking ((WIN) Conference, attended by businesswomen from all over the world.
In October 2000, she was in Stockholm to present an image workshop for the annual conference of the International Association for Facilitators. | In 1997 Dumont was chosen by the Belgian Radio & Television (BRT) to serve as their color consultant when they launched their new look. Other clients have included ITT, Hotel Meridien, Sheraton Hotel, Rolex, Mobistar French Telecom, TWA, Wang, Yves St.
Laurent Cosmetics, and General Cosmetics of Holland. | In 1996, Dumont became a faculty member of the prestigious Management Centre Europe, where she conducted image workshops. That same year she also set up her school for diploma courses to become a total image consultant. For the past 10 years, Dumont has conducted 10-week Total Image workshops at the 1000-member American Women's Club of Brussels,
Belgium. She has also conducted workshops for the American Embassy in Brussels. | Dumont was certified as a therapist/counselor in 1994 after a two-year course with the Institute For Deep Therapy (Belgium, Denmark). In 1990 she received a certificate from Moran Management Development (London) in assertiveness training. Dumont began giving assertiveness training workshops in 1995. She uses her therapy
skills to enable her to subtly increase the confidence of her image clients. | Dumont graduated in 1967 from the John Robert Powers Fashion & Finishing School in Washington, D.C. and launched her career as a high-fashion model before graduating. She later taught at the Barbizon School. During her years as a fashion model, she honed her skills as a personal shopper and image skills consultant. She
lived and worked in Washington, D.C., San Francisco and London, England, before moving to Brussels, Belgium. | Dumont lives in Virginia, with her Belgian husband, Stefaan Braem, and Muffin the cat. |
