Mary Ellen Brantley,
founder and President of BrantleyHouse, LLC, brings over twenty
years of field management experience in the technology industry
to her organizational development and high performance leadership
practice. A pioneer in the use of the business simulations and games
as a driver of both change and learning, Ms. Brantley is currently
a doctoral student at Fielding Institute, majoring in Human and

Experience/Background
Mary Ellen Brantley has over twenty years’
experience in senior sales line and operating management positions
with Fortune 100 companies. She is the author of Winning the Technology
Talent War, published by McGraw-Hill in 2001. Mary Ellen focuses
entirely on executive and leadership development. A pioneer on
the use of business simulations, e-Learning, and other innovative
executive learning techniques, Brantley has eleven years’
of experience in the field of leadership and executive coaching,
assessing individuals’ strengths and development needs,
and identifying and developing the leadership competencies needed
for success.

Brantley has assessed and coached literally hundreds of executives
in both large and small companies. Under her leadership executive
coaching and development programs have been created for IBM Corporation,
ChoicePoint, Georgia-Pacific, Application Partners, Coca-Cola
Enterprises, The Atlanta Ballet, Paparelli Ventures, BellSouth,
Wachovia, Digital Equipment Corporation, MTI, Tax Partners, AirSage,
and Resource Management Services. Ms. Brantley was selected by
the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) to deliver
a CEO Forum at its annual meeting. In addition, the Technology
Executive Roundtable (an exclusive organization of CEO’s
of technology companies) has repeatedly requested her to deliver
CEO development sessions. Her unique knowledge and experience
make her a successful, sought-after speaker.

Education
Mary Ellen is currently completing her Ph.D. in Human and Organization
Development from Fielding Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, CA,
where her dissertation research is in the field of Executive Coaching
and leadership effectiveness. She has a M. A. in Organizational
Development & Systems from Fielding Graduate Institute, and
a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Rollins College
(1974), Winter Park, Florida.

Certifications/Training
Ms. Brantley has been certified on the Hogan Interpersonal Compass
and Leadership Effectiveness Analysis and is trained in the Birkman
method.

Experience
Mary Ellen has held managerial responsibility for the Americas
with Digital Equipment Corporation. She has both consulted and
spoken professionally in Great Britain, Italy, and Jamaica.

Preferences
Based in Atlanta, GA. Frequent travel throughout the Southeast
and Northeast. Moderate travel to California. International travel
is both a delight and hobby.
