Mark Dauberman taught his first university accounting class in
1969 and has been involved in accounting education since. He obtained
his bachelors degree in accounting from California State University
at Northridge (CSUN) in June of 1970, and has taken graduate courses
at CSUN, Claremont Graduate School, UCLA, and USC.
Mark’s public accounting experience includes working with
various local firms throughout high school and college, and employment
with Kenneth Leventhal & Company. More recently he was a partner
at NSBN, a Beverly Hills CPA and business consulting firm, where
he served as director of the audit practice and was responsible
for recruiting, training, business development, quality control,
and strategic planning for the firm.
Mark is currently a technical accounting and auditing consultant
to CPA firms as well as small public companies. As a public speaker,
he provides CPE and technical staff training to CPA firms and
members of the accounting profession, with a specialization in
auditing and accounting topics, fraud, and strategic planning.
He is also a keynote motivational speaker providing his insights
on entrepreneurship, goal setting, time management, dealing with
stress, coping with crises, ethics, and how to avoid being a victim
of fraud.

Mark attended Claremont Graduate School in 1971. Attended classes
in economics and studied management under Dr. Peter Drucker as
part of a program toward a Master’s Degree in Business-Economics.
Attended the University of California at Los Angeles in the program
toward a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and
toward a Doctorate of Philosophy in Business Administration.
Mark served as guest lecturer for UCLA extension and CSUN Foundation.
He currently lectures for accounting societies, chapters of Beta
Alpha Psi, and various businesses and professional organizations
throughout California. He provides consulting services to local
and regional CPA firms, predominantly related to their auditing
and accounting practices.
Founder of The Mark Dauberman CPA Review course, an independent
program, which grew to become the largest CPA review course in
Southern California. The program prepared over 2,500 candidates
per year in 12 Southern California locations.
Mark Dauberman, CPA provides staff training to CPA firms and
provides continuing education to members of the profession. Technical
topics focus on Auditing and Accounting with an emphasis on audit
efficiency and fraud risk analysis, and strategic planning for
establishing or managing a business. Mark Dauberman, CPA is also
a professional public speaker providing keynote addresses on motivational
topics including time management, goal setting, stress management,
ethics, and dealing with crises.
