Has
Anyone Seen My Desk?
Denise’s seminars, speeches, and consulting provide easy-to-implement
solutions to many of the challenges you face every day: overflowing
email inboxes, stacks of paper everywhere, constant interruptions,
and late nights of work. You will discover what a difference organizing
techniques can make to cut down on stress and gain control of
your schedule. Topics covered are focused on your needs and may
include:
Managing Time:
Learn techniques to create an effective weekly schedule
Cut down on multitasking
Limit daily interruptions caused by
- telephone
- email
- paper
- visitors
- office layout
- yourself
Managing Paper and Email:
Empty stacked inboxes
Respond promptly to all requests
Easily prioritize each day’s work
Track all the pieces of a project
Read faster to accomplish more
Managing Space:
Learn what effective organization really is
Eliminate the clutter that distracts you
Using our simple systems, you become and stay organized as you
manage all the work flooding into your office in various forms:
paper, email, verbal requests, long-term projects. You will find
what you need, when you need it, and stay focused on your highest
priorities.
With our processes, it takes 60 seconds or less to prioritize
your daily work. Managers, administrators, and staff can now be
on the same page, using the same reliable system. Sharing a common
framework for organizing work and setting priorities reduces confusion
and maximizes efficiency. By discussing together key items in
their system files, managers and employees can quickly ensure
that priorities match. This process also provides accountability
within your department or company so that unanticipated absences
by any staff member can easily be covered.
Our systems detail step-by-step processes that are easy to understand,
easy to implement, and easy to maintain. We come into your organization
and provide a half day or full day of training. We can also assist
with implementation of our system within your department. In a
few hours, your new work habits and organized workspace will display
competence, confidence, and professionalism.
"Both the director and I have been operating at high
activity levels. I do not know how I did as well as I did after
seeing how effectively I can now work. The systems are simple,
as are most of the good things in life. The processes relieve
anxiety, and I can find anything within a minute or two. My
office remains cleared, and I do not like working any other
way now. It really has been a miracle!"

More
comments from audiences:
"It's been one week today that I have been using your
new system and I think you literally saved my life and career.
This system works, and I have been so excited about it that
I have told everyone who will listen. My group that you met
with has all begun working on their own offices, and everyone
is happy with all the extra time they are finding. I just wanted
to thank you for all you have done for me. I am now happy and
"getting a real life" instead of staying at work trying
to play catch-up. I even signed up for dance lessons today that
I will take after work. You are my hero and my mentor! Thank
you for what you do!!!"
Katherine Holley, Clinical Manager
Texas Children's Hospital
"I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the seminar
you conducted. I have implemented the system you recommended
and must say it is wonderful! When I attended your talk I was
looking for a way to get rid of my To Do list as I was writing
and re-writing it several times per week. In addition, I was
losing sleep because I was thinking of more "to do's"
during the night that I had forgotten to document. I have had
many peaceful nights since I implemented your system. I have
adopted your main precepts, written those phrases out, and put
them on my keyboard tray. Thank you for the great work you are
doing."
Tommye White, National Director of Education and Community Relations
Money Management International
"We think you are great and have added so much value
to our work day! We are in the process of scheduling dates for
next year's Leadership Conference. Your last presentation was
such a benefit to us that we would be delighted if you would
accept our invitation to speak at the next conference."
