About
David H. Rawles:
Author, speaker, business executive, and educator, David Rawles
is fulfilling his purpose, “Helping Others Achieve Significance.”
David’s mission: to share what it takes to land and succeed
in the job that God has planned for you.
He is co-founder and president of CareerWorkshops, Inc. a faith-based
non-profit dedicated to helping people with their career success.
David achieved his own success as a Human Resources executive
at GTE Information Services and now travels the world sharing
what he has learned.
David served in two of the most successful companies in the 20th
century, GTE and Disney. He speaks to professional groups, church
groups, service organizations and business conferences with wit
and wisdom gained from his own personal success. David delivers
the truth surrounding successful professional pursuits. His presentations
are fast paced, humorous and he delivers a one-two punch concerning
God’s plans for our lives.
David received his BS Degree in Human Resources from Cal State
Long Beach and his MS Degree in Management from Lake Forest University
near Chicago. In addition to his many years as corporate executive,
he served as adjunct professor for University of South Florida
and University of Dallas. He was named to Who’s Who in Business
Executives in 1992 and 2005.
In his first book, Finding a Job God’s Way, published by
Hannibal Books, January 2005, David combines on-target tips with
Biblical counsel. He succinctly addresses any situation that might
arise for someone wishing to change jobs or pursue success in
their current career position.
