Following a 26-year teaching career, Craig began a second career as a writer. He has instituted poetry programs in elementary schools nationally, authored several books of poetry in addition to other publications and serves as a liaison to the officers and crew of the USS BENFOLD, a naval destroyer named in honor of a Medal of Honor recipie,itfromn Audubon NJ, Craig's home town. |
Winner of two Silver Bowls at the International Platform Association, one for poetry and the other for speaking, he coordinated the 2001 Speaking Ladder competition for the IPA in Washington, D.C. |
Volunteer of the Year for New Jersey, recipient of multi-awards for outstanding contributions to school & community, he was invited to speak at
Columbia University, elected to the Int'l. Poetry Hall of Fame and chosen International Man of the Year. |
